Starting to sound like you've got an ax to grind. I'll make a fearless prediction. When it's all said and done, I'll bet that these negotiations, and that's what they are, will have no or very little effect on new Ford GT buyers. Do you really think that some of our members with an allocation are going to pipe up here and proclaim "I am cancelling my new GT purchase because there may be a tariff!"? I doubt that too.

No Ax to grind here. Would love to have the opportunity to order one but it does not keep me up at night. I am sure in years to come there will be cars available on the secondary market.

If I am lucky enough to get an allocation I would gladly pay whatever the additional fee is, when you love the design and passion that has gone into building such a one of kind vehicle tariff's or increases in pricing do have no effect on my decision to purchase this vehicle. Don't knock it if you haven't tried it. It's my new favorite flavor. :thumbsup

My previous fave was the wasabi ginger flavor. (hijack over)

Now, back to the thread: Given the Prez's announcement the other night, it looks like the tariffs will be resolved, so no need to go nuts trying to figure out how to get around them.
