Gentlemen,

A friend of mine sent me this short video about the restoration of the world's only flying Supermarine Seafire Mk. XV. The Seafire is the Royal Navy version of the British Spitfire. It has folding wings, stronger landing gear, more power and a retractable tail wheel. I consider it the most beautiful of all Spitfires because of that retractable tail wheel. Battle of Britain era Spitfires had fixed non-retractable tail wheels that mar their appearance. Any gearhead will enjoy this short video, especially the pilots. All the best.

Too cool!

Really enjoyed that. Great to see people take on a project "for the love of it". Makes the final result that much better.

Awesome... Thanks for sharing. Always liked the Spitfire because of their elliptical wing.
