Anyone experienced a drop in the performance of their GT?

The whine of the supercharger has dropped off.
The 4000 rpm push has fallen off.
The furtherest outter cannister on the drivers side that houses the fluid for cooling the air from the supercharger is cool after a drive?
Any ideas?

Do you have any loss of coolant level? Sounds like your supercharger coolant pump has gone out. The Degas bottle does not circulate? Unless your internal Bypass Vacuum Actuator has gone bad or the bypass vacuum solenoid.

the internal bypass vacuum actuator is ok. I suspect the fluid must not be circulating because it is cool. Opened the reservoir (against better judgement)
right after running the car, it was cool so figured it would be ok. Fluid is still present. So it must not be circulating. Could be the pump. The guage still registers boost in the car.

Thanks for the input.
To the dealership on Tuesday.

You would need to be pushing the car pretty good to warm up the fluid.

I thought mine was losing power to. I based this on the fact the my tires were not spinning at 80mph (like they used too). Turns out the laws of physics still apply and that the warming weather just gave the tires better grip. Who knew?

Take you car to a dyno and see if it runs weak.

When I took delivery of my Terminator cobra the boost gauge read 0 at all throttle positions. A vacuum hose was not connected at the factory. Maybe a prankster has pulled the hose. Is your gauge showing boost under acceleration? If you are stock take it to a trustworthy dealer. It will then be their issue if it is something else.

I agree. If you are crusing around not making boost I can't see the fluid warming up at all. While cruising nice and easy, you have a "relatively" cool air mixture going through the intercooler (cool because it is not being compressed and it is outside air feeding the intake), so the fluid shouldn't warm up much I would guess. My question is how much hard driving before it starts to heat up.

I will perform a test for all of you with my raytek gun. Give me a couple of days :cheers

I was drawing on the boost. Not just a Sunday drive.
May need to dyno if dealer stumped.

I never really had much of a whine with my car. I have more whistling than anything else. Me likey!:biggrin

I cannot hear the whine anymore after I put the Heffner exhaust on.

I guess this must be a sign that some one wants you to put a whipple on your car.

Just put a whipple,And be done with it.

The car is alot more fun,and you won't stop looking at it.
