Stefan, there are still quite a few heritages out there, including one in FL. I have been checking up on what options all of them have for myself as they come in. If you are interested in any details, send me a PM or e-mail.

I would be happy to help you out if you would like to keep the heritage in FL. Make sure she gets exercised regularly, stays clean, etc... :biggrin

thanks everyone ! :cheers

Shor, you're one lucky guy! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! :cheers

There are NO more heritage GT's at US dealerships that have Mac delete. I'm not trying to highjack this thread, but there's a dealer in Oregon who owns one w/o the McIntosh stereo & w/standard wheels. Very rare & desirable combo. Stefan, I thought of you & I'm checking w/him to see if he's interested in selling it (probably not). He has a whole stable of beautiful cars, including an original heritage GT40 racing car from the '60's!!!! :banana

I asked a few of the dealers to do a national search for one w/o the McIntosh & they all said there aren't any. Perhaps there are some under the radar?

I also contacted each heritage dealer individually that was listed in autotrader.com (including the one in Delray) to get options & price. I don't remember that particular one off hand, but none of the responses involved a heritage w/Mac delete. I can double check on the FL one at work tomorrow.

On a positive note, some of the dealers are willing to remove that stereo at no additional charge prior to your picking it up. :thumbsup Something worth asking about...

Last week I found 2 on autotrader with the proper MSRP for a caliper + heritage with Mc delete, then ajgt posted 2 no Mc cars.

Hi everyone!
I have not checked in for a while.
I wish I could drive my GT more often, but hard to find the time with my kids sports and all. Only 20 miles!
I have a question about a recall notice Ford just mailed me.
They want me to have half shaft washers replaced?
Has anyone else done this?
I dread the thought of bringing my GT to a local Ford dealer and having them monkey with it.
Can I just get the washers from Ford and keep them in the glove box, and change them myself down the road if I so choose?
Happy New Year All!:cheers

I wouldn't worry, the stock washers are good for at least 100 miles.

check the customer satisfaction thread.
get the bolts in... one way or the other.
and have a happy, healthy and safe 2008! :)

thanks.
i just found the other thread refering to this.
i saved the letter that was posted about customers doing thier own repairs.
:cheers

talk about waking a dead thread . . . I got all excited there for a minute

You and me both Snap. Happy New Year!
