State emission testing!

Anyone have experience with trying to pass a state (WI) emission test after installing headers and muffler (9430GT & 5230GT)? These are the Ford Racing headers and "OFF ROAD" Borla muffler. We have emission testing every 2 years in 7 counties in Wisconsin that is required to get registration. I am wondering if I will pass the test with the headers. O2 is in place, no codes in PCM, but no cat on vehicle. I don't think they look, but do hook up the DCL.

I don't know about WI, but in CA it would FAIL!

Because the GT is a limited production vehicle and mileage driven is generally pretty low, in AZ, you can register the GT as a collector and are exempt from emission testing. :banana

I don't have the headers, but do have the muffler. In Illnois, where there are only a few counties that need to do this, I passed with flying colors. I rolled in and some young babe was there not knowing what was driving. They hook up to the ODB port, look for error codes, if there are none, you pass for the next two years. Make sure the car is good and warm, at least a half hour drive. Hope this helps. You should be able to reset codes before yoou get there.

FRPP Rear Exit Headers (which liminate the cats) will not pass. In some states cars driven < XXXX miles are exempt.
