A recent post from the GT Doc talked about a bad experience at a dealer in Southern California. Who has had a good experience at a dealer? Can we create a list of dealers who are qualified to work on our cars. I live in Santa Monica and I don't know who to trust!

We have 2 Master Certified GT Tech's on staff here (So Cal). Had 2 GT's in yesterday.

If you want a qualified for dealer, then go to galpin. I know its far, but the other in santa monica are not equiped to work on the GT.

I have a certified GT tech on staff here in Missouri. I also own a GT and he is very capable of handling any issue that may come up. He has Ferrari experience as well as many Vipers we've tuned over the last 10 years. Any one in the area give us a call if we can help.

Thumbs up for Middlekauf Ford in Plano just north of Dallas. See Dave Johnson or Dusty to set it up with the GT certified mechanic. They did my fuel neck replacement without a hitch.

This is good to know! Jay

Good Dealer Experience

Frontier Ford in San Jose California can definately be trusted. They sorted out a number of issues on my early '05 and I did not even buy the car from them.

Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park. An oil change is not cheap. But it is done by a good guy, who knows what he is doing, and he is the only one that works on the Ford GT. John is his name.

Feel free to contact me if you want to bring the car in. I do both parts and service.

Thanks

I'll second that. Middlekauff always gives my GT the white glove treatment and they don't charge me for crazy stuff.

Stanley Ford in Desoto does good work also. I have not had a lot of experience with their shop but they sold me a Ford inter-cooler for $1,100 and did the install for $200. I thought that was more than fair.

Bankston Ford, in Frisco, on the other hand tried to charge me $1,850 for the inter-cooler and another $925 for install (I guess that thought I owned a Ferrari too).
