"229, with a 10/04 build date. Altho' an "early 05 car", no issues. It did have the rear "A" arms replaced prior to the sale by the dealer, but it was not identified as a car with a rear seal issue...

All four "A" arms would have been replaced under the recall not just two.

Dave. Good info. I had heard it was just the rears. So you're saying they did the same on the front?

05' #448. The very last car to have the recall done for " A" arms. The car was never shipped and work was done at the factory. All the cars after mine that have the machined "A" arms were built with them. I am told no speedy seal as well.

I have a 1715 and it seem to have machined suspension arms too. When did they get switch back to cast arms?

Not sure. I have seen 05's without the michined arms I think the # was around 1900. The car was a board members.

Yes. The cars were impounded at the dealership or factory. Delivered cars were flat bedded back to the dealership. All four "A" arms were replaced with cnc items made by roush.

The speed seal was done only on those cars which required the fix as reported by owners and verified by the dealer. It was not uniformly applied to all vehicles as the "A" arm recall. The sleeve was not a recall.

Thanks.

As for the A arms I thought they were the uppers and lowers in the rear only (4 total). I have never heard of the front being done?
