SLS AMG Black Series

That's not even close to a Viper...it's a Benz in Benz clothing...nothing really great about that car.

Although it can not make GT levels of power, it really does have a great engine.

Had a chance to check this car out at the track yesterday. I think it's awesome. Price tag not so awesome, but it really has presence in Black Series trim. I say this as a person who has pretty much zero interest in the base SLS car. The SLS Black Series looks and sound a lot like something straight out of a GT3 race. Super wide, super long, super low. Raucous V8, quick shifting trans. Looks wild in yellow. Still tough to swallow a $300k price tag on one.

Wait two years Dave and you can likely buy one under $200k. I agree with your assessment-looks wicked.

In my opinion the SLS Black Series is a tribute to Americana car design than European. That's why I think it's great.

Disagree. Its been over 4 years and a well maintained sl 65 amg black series is going for about 200 and their price was sticker 300 but dealers sold them for 275k. That car probably reaches 200 in 5 years maybe.

I have a sl 65 black series. Drove a stock sls on track and it was a very well put together car.

Can only imagine what the black series is like

I'm becoming a fan of yellow and black.

That color combo is The Bomb on a GT.
The Benz just doesn't do it for me.
