I would have done it, but I had the Viper 1st and don't like doing the same thing on each vehicle. Bad enough I have the same wheels on the GT and the Z06, although the Z has them in gunmetal grey. The other thing is that the ADV1 wheels on the GT have no lip and the spokes are not flush on the outside of the rim. I don't know why, but I have seen that treatment on the Z before and it just didn't punch at me. The Viper has that hooligan look and the painted lips enhance that - whereas the GT and the Z are just not hooligan looking cars IMO...
What you don't see in that picture is that the wheels are not just a painted lip, but painted dish right to the spokes...4" deep.
