My GT is a 2006 red w/white stripe 4 option car got in May with 500 miles now has 1300.
As you can see it is tucked away for a loooong winter snooze!

Looks like my garage! Another new red car in MN. Thank goodness mine is white! ;)

Jeff, we should get you a better hibernation cover.

I did drive mine last week, it was over 60 degrees out, today it's 36 here, so I lowered the lift, and put 50 lbs of pressure in the tires of the "toys", to avoid flat spotting over the cold winter months, raised them back up, knowing that if it gets into the high 50's and there's no salt, etc. on the roads, the pressure will be reduced, the lift lowered, the tenders and car covers removed, and I'll go for a ride. Nothing cures the winter blues better than a nice ride!!

I unpacked mine yesterday to let the engine run up to normal temp. While I was programming stations into the radio I noticed that the gas gauge was down to the red so I decided to take it to get gas. I drove it 2 miles and there was way too much road gravel to go any further so filled up and went back home. I also backed out of the garage with the battery tender still connected so now I'm going to get a sticker on the steering wheel!

I have been waiting to make the same mistake. Not yet.

I believe Rich Brooks suggested 50 lbs.

That's exactly what I do anytime there's something I need to do BEFORE starting/moving one of the cars that sit for any length of time. I know darn well I probably wouldn't remember to do it otherwise.

The letter from Ford said 44-45 psi for stroage. It's posted here someplace.

OK, so after a year + of ownership, and being on this forum, from what I hear about EP,why do you put on a sticker on a car that you never move/drive?:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl

Because Pockets on more than one occasion had:

1) Forgotten the car belonged to him
2) Forgotten where his garage is
3) Forgotten the standard operating procedures
4) Forgotten his own name

Just got my garage heater installed. No blanket needed now.

I will drive mine right up to the first snow then it gets tucked away until roads are clean in the spring.
