A friend of mine passed and he has a Silver No stripe never titled 06 that is in the house (not the garage) and I am thinking of advising the wife to sell it in the spring.

They are elderly and once before he passed away I convinced them to drive it down the street and back but it still has most of the factory cover stickers on it. So its really like new & maybe she should keep it but I really dont see at 75 her ever driving it.

What do you guys think. Hold on to it for a bit or sell it now?

Not an 06 if it is "silver". Tungsten are 06. Silver only made in 05.

"FLIPFLOP" Tom? :biggrin

I am gonna say it is most likely a tungsten aswell if infact it is an 06. If she does not NEED to sell, then definatly wait till spring. I think this spring is gonna be a very strong season for exotic car sales. If you would like any tips or pointers in how to approach selling the GT, feel free to contact me. I have sold 1 or 2 GTs in my time. :)

Sorry to hear of his passing.....

Does she need the money? That'd be THEE biggest factor as far as the "hold or sell" question is concerned in her case I should think. If there's no need for the money, I would think a "no miler" GT would HAVE TO BE worth more money down the road a few years that it pbly is right now in THIS economy. Especially since the "supply" dwindles every year.

I think I am just a little over 200 now. :eek

So.............. if it is an 05 Silver no stripe, then what is the value?

Hey Shelby, out of curiousity, wondering why you think this spring will be a 'very strong' season for exotic car sales? Sales seem to be really soft around me in Florida with the current economic softening.

Generally speaking, always better in the spring than fall for toys, motorcycles, boats etc.

Thanks guys, He was a dealer and never sold anything (over 80 cars of various vintage and condition but this is a brand new car and his wife is a very close friend so I am hoping to help her in the comming year. He even has 2 flat head cars with Ardun original heads on them and one of them we are finishing as a tribute as it was almost completed with the Ardun and new Super charger.

The GT he got to run around with me but his health problems arose so we took it to his home.

The posts definetly helped re-affirm my thoughts.
