Anyone have any recommendations for shippers from US to Japan?

I have a possible buyer for the Cobra. The car would have to be shipped to Yokohama. It looks like he is planning on routing through Long Beach (as I am offering to cover the US portion of the shipping). What other ports might work? Seattle, Portland?

If you are near Long Beach, you have many options over there. I just sent a 997 Gt2 over to Asia from Texas (via Long Beach) and my GT will be sent to Asia too (via New Jersey) next month. E-mail me and I can give you a contact name and number. He can assist you with your export.

I'm in Colorado, so I can ship it to any western US port for about the same price. Would it be cheaper to ship to Japan from other ports?

What is a SWAG (Scientific Wild A** Guess) for shipping there?

SWAG = Long Beach, CA to Asia +/-USD$2,000, 20 foot container, should include loading, paper work (export clearance, etc), blocking and bracing.

We spent about $5000 door to door from Detroit to Italy a few years ago, with insuring the car for about $180k.
