This was my first meeting with those from the forum and it was an absolute pleasure.:cheers You guys (Daniel, George, Kirby, GTtech,Torrie, Tony, etc) really made my first experience top notch and I can't wait for the next event that I will be able to attend. Everyone that I spoke with was full of GT knowledge and first class individuals as well. I took everything in that I could but sitting next to bony it was hard to keep up with all the conversations he had going on. :wink Bony, I wanted to thank you for putting together this event and also making the new guy feel as if I belonged there right from the time I walked through the door.:thumbsup P.S Yes midnightblue I will be putting more miles on Pe2unia in the near future.:biggrin

Dinner with Baccus and Forum

In the tradition of ancient Rome, the god of revelry and wine, Baccus (a.k.a. Bony) held court with one of finest groups of persons in a long memory. Discussions at our table ranged from 'Peak Oil', spirits, GT and SCCA past memories. What tremendous diversity and intellect in this owner group.

And for those of you from FoMoCo (and you know who you are) who lurk here -- could find a way to harness the talent, well it sure wouldn't hurt our fortunes at Ford.

Thanks everyone for making this a most enjoyable evening!

Bony,

If you happen to read this post, I'd appreciate the name/vintage of the Red wine served. A belated thanks for putting the dinner together - much appreciated!! It is clear that Mrs. Bony has trained you well.

Ciao!
