Just saw this on eBay, a 2007 Saleen Extreme in Heritage Paint Scheme with 550HP:

We saw this car at Saleen at the Rally.

That is a pretty penny. $95K for a mustang, even with all the mods, is on the expensive side. It looks funny from the rear quarter shot as well. The color does not work as well as it does on the GT. I think I would rather have the Shelby, but they did do a good job on it. Glad to see it will belong only to GT owners though. Nice way of keeping it special.

Ya cause ~400 heritage Ford GT's by the end of total production is now real exclusive-like :lol

I love Mustangs, I mean I REALLY love Mustangs. I paid 15K over MSRP for my new Shelby and I love driving it everyday but the mark ups have their limits....95K buys you a brand new Viper SRT-10 Coupe with a Paxton Super Charger installed, chrome tipped straight exhaust, dynamatted interior and belanger headers ......750HP (650 RWHP) 600 Tourque.....in other words, there are wiser ways to spend 95K and have WAY more fun.

i have to tune in on this one
while at saleen, as most of you know i left my gt for repairs and purchased the #03 red saleen extreme, and brought it back to jersey with me.
the deal that saleen gave me for this vehicle was a no brainer as far a i was concerned. it was awesome.
i'm not knocking the gt500's, i drove two of them before i purchased this extreme and they were very impressive. but i have to tell you, the way saleen put this car together and the awesome performance, handling, cosmetics, fit & finish, service, etc, etc, and with 550hp, it is like apples and oranges compared to the gt500.
they did offer me the heritage #159, but i had my heart set on this red #03 as soon as i saw it.
the heritage combo is nice, but it does not compare to the heritage combo on the gt
just my opinion and thoughts
