It wasn't my favorite color combo but it sure looked awesome coming straight at me!

It's an amazing thing. I drive mine a lot, so many people see it, but I have never seen one on the road except for a planned gathering.

they sure do have a presence on the road. I've seen a few around chicago and a couple in LA. Even raced a twin turbo one here in Chicago.

I thought for a split second I'd actually seen another GT coming down the road the other day as I was making a turn - and it was BLUE too!

...Uh ... But ... 'Turns out ... it was MY car reflected in a store front window ... Duuuuuuuuuuuuuh. :slap :bang

(Only other one I've seen on the road is PL510*Jeff's)

Liar! your car's never been out of the garage!

I got together with Howard and Davisp on Saturday. I was following
Howard. The wide footprint of the car impressed me. It was obvious that Howard is an experienced preformance car driver.

Well we saw at a "chop shop" a damaged grey 2005 GT.:willy

They are not common. That's the fun!

Yup. C6's are always fun to see on the street. I always see at least one everytime I go for a drive. Vipers are a lot more rare. I like to follow them a little bit to get a good nice close look at them.

But the GT is a whole different story. I've only seen one on the road and it just about shit my pants. One of the top 15 greatest moments of my life. Here are a few pics I got of it, on the way to SF.

I'm with Steve...we need pictures. Has that thing really ever been on a public street?

Oh, ya. It's common knowledge that Jeff's car has over 43,000 miles on the clock! Ask ennybuddy! :rofl

Liar, Liar, Pants On Fire

stevie - empty's car has been out of the garage - so he could dust it off and look for paint flaws. And to practice his hilly driveway skills.

According to my Whatcom County spy net work, there may havebeena
MT pockets sighting early last month. It was hard to tell it was a GT due to the concrete barriers surrounding his car in the parking lot. The armed guards kept everyone 200 yards away. It looked kinda cool in the inflatable garage.:rofl

Sorry my guys weren't able to get photo's.:frown

I had lunch with him a couple of weeks ago. He alluded that he was on his third tank of gas. As he drove his stealthy black truck, that day, I still haven't verified that he actually owns a GT. It could be another Photo Shop creation.

LOL!
Good one Jeff!

I'm at 3000 miles now and it's running sweeter than ever. I take it out as often as I can. I have parking karma so I always get a great spot to park in. The restaurant owners around here really like us to park out front even if they have pay my parking ticket if it's illegally parked. The car always draws a reaction, although that is the only part about it I don't like - I just like to drive the best! But 99% of the reactions are positive. People are very gracious and polite for the most part, especially about taking pictures. It makes their day. I got a scratch at the dragstrip on Sunday, but WTF that comes with taking it out on the road. I have a friend who NEVER parks his anywhere but his garage. He goes out for a burn then drives straight back home. That's his decision but I am not that anal about it. These cars were meant to be enjoyed and it's a privilege to own one. The most beautiful car on the road, looks good in every color, and the performance is awesome!

Way too sensitive.

You'll feel lots better, if your Drive your GT. Much less expensive than therapy!
