A Well done web site. Some great photo's of the racing action.

Have fun in Sarthe for the test and tune.

Go Blu!!!!!!!!!

New site looks very nice.

Best of luck in LeMans and I have my fingers crossed that your second car gets in too!

Ummm.... Hi Ho Silver, AWAYYYYYYYYYYY!

Very nice story witten by Jim McCraw in the April 18th Autoweek on Dave, Andrea and the team.

LeMans Test Day is this Sunday!

Story- LeMans Test

Fan-tastic story. H is being modest about the article in AutoWeek, Jim McCraw nailed it. Get a copy, hopefuly it will be online. I would love to put it up in PDF form, but don't know about copyright, will put up a little teaser. Also saw a cut of a new video by Johnny St.Ours that caused my heart to beat faster. Cinderella is going to the ball.

I got this from your Facebook Page:

Jason Cuthbertson Translated: In the first four days of Scrutineering Test Day 24 Hours of Le Mans 2011, no team has yet installed in the paddock.

However, a competitor... is already close to the circuit (we are not talking of course and OAK Racing Pescarolo Team Autovision permanently installed in the Technopark). This is the most distant competitor, moreover, the only American team this weekend in the Sarthe.

Indeed, the Robertson Racing, based in the USA in Georgia, has its carrier at Le Mans, and what a carrier! A huge American-style truck that is housed since late last week on the parking OAK Racing. The flamboyant semi-trailer crossed the Atlantic by boat.

Andrea and David Robertson, husband and wife renew in June it had done before them Bob Berridge and Amanda Stretton. The second car is first reserve in GTE-Pro, and Boris Said will pilot, Anthony Lazzaro and Colin Braun. The six pilots will be present at the Test Day.

Andrew H Smith, Team Manager of the team, had previously explained the absence of both cars for the ALMS race at Long Beach and the presence of both Ford at Le Mans: "We never missed a single round of ALMS with Doran Ford GT-since we are engaged in the championship, so this was a difficult decision, but a decision that could ultimately prove to be very fair in June came. While the second car will give us a plan B if something happened to the No. 40 (No. 68 at Le Mans, Ed), it also ensures that the six pilots to wrap their ten laps required. It makes sense to be fully prepared if the One of the other engaged in GT package declared by the race and it also allows us to perform at least a first working on set-up. "
"There is no need to say that the whole team is anxious to leave for Le Mans! We have many experienced people who have been there, who made Le Mans and who won ; their stories will give a boost to the rest of the team. Nobody has any illusions about the fact that it is easy though. Once there, it will be the same as the other tests, with only more the importance that the drivers do their required ten laps. "

Some news from across the pond, it has sad overtones. Great picture and take on Dave and Andrea. Our American team.

Interesting - one car running on Dunlop tires, and the other shod with Michelins....

Maybe, maybe not! #40 car (red trim) has Michelin logo in one picture and Dunlop logo (just ahead of the RF wheel) in the other!

You're right - missed that....

Older pic, Michelins on both. Rewrite the setup book.

Sounds like you are having a great time, wish I was there! I hope you get good news on the second car before the weekend is out.

We are all keeping our fingers crossed the second car gets in. The cars ran great at LeMans test. We accomplished our goal to get everyone 10 laps (it doesn't sound like much but think it's like 30 laps each at other tracks) and we tried a few different configurations of low downforce. Now it's wait and see.

Dave, what was top speed for our cars at the track. I also think your stat ought be more than "spector".

A story at Road & Track.com by Jim McCraw, who wrote the piece in Autoweek.

Not much new to report. We sure have a clean race shop! The crew will be leaving on May 28th to start getting the cars ready for LeMans. We will be working out of the Oak Racing shop next to the circuit where the cars have been since the the end of the test day in April. We are still waiting to hear about the GTE-Pro car getting into the race. If not, we will have our work done for the ALMS Lime Rock round done early. To get your name on the Piloti/Robertson Racing Ford GT, please follow this link. You have until midnight on May 22nd. Thanks for your support!

H glad to see you made it. Hope to have played a small part in making that happen. I'll be cheering for you, back here in the states.
Hopefully we'll see you at WHQ on your victory tour in Dearborn this summer.Dale
