Justin Wilson died today from injuries suffered yesterday in the Indycar race at Pocono.

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Justin in first class on a flight from Denver to Cleveland a couple of years ago. We had a several hour conversation. Just two guys with common interests chatting. He was a super nice guy who dearly loved his family and racing. He told me of how he came up through carts and realized his dream of F1 only to find it filled with politics and big egos. He said that it was a huge disappointment and was the reason he switched to Indy. He felt more at home with the guys and the organization. I am super bummed about this loss.
