OK, as we get closer to the date, I need to know who is showing up at my house (people count-driver-spouse-family), who's driving or towing (to arrange garage space), and who might meet us along the way (i.e.Indy GT in Louisville).
Here's what I think so far from available data:

My info is correct, Frank.
I think AMB (1 - driving) and Apollo (2 - towing) will come along with me but I haven't checked with them lately.

Frank and Dave and other St Louis to Rally V participants,
I am afraid I have to cancel out of the Rally this year. My wife is having a hip replacement and according to all we spoke to at Drs and Hospital, she will still be recovering when the rally rolls around. She comes first, so I wish you all a great and safe time, as if I needed to say that for you to have one, and hope I can do it next year....wherever it is. God bless, Jack

Jack, she's pulling your LEG. Hip surgery is elective and not done on a whim. Tell her to schedule it for AFTER the Rally. She just doesn't want you to go. You didn't show here the pictures of Larry Flint's, did you ? Sorry to hear it buddy.

Possibly all true, except the Dr asked "How are you still walking?" after he saw the Xrays. She had a bad experience with a back surgery about 12 yrs ago and subsequently put off talking to a specialist for a LONG time. So, it will be Aug 31, and she can't wait for it which means the pain must be level 10. It sucks that I wont be able to go, in fact, I told DBK about three weeks ago, but held onto my hotel reservations just in case we got some good info at pre-admission indicating she would be pretty self sufficient in 4 weeks, but they said she would need someone around then...so I bit the bullet today and cancelled everything but dreaming about what it would be like and waiting to see all the postings of the great times you all will surely have.

I will be posting this weekend. Wrote a long post, but never made it to this thread. My suggestion - everybody drive to Drury, check in, unpack, freshen up and meet at my house at 6:00. I will have parking for six cars. People towing can leave trucks/trailers at the motel and I will pick you up. I need comments, questions, suggestions.
Today is the last day to book the Drury. Only 4 rooms spoken for. I will be ordering the food this week. Several people have dropped out. Right now I will furnish parking for 5 cars. Only 9 people coming. Frank

Directions (I'm taking you this way to avoid downtown St. Louis - a little longer, but less driving hassle)
Coming in from the West on I-70 (Kansas City)
Near St. Louis, pick up I-270 towards Chicago. After crossing the Mississippi, drive to I-255 and take it South towards Memphis.
Stay on I-255 South to I-64 East towards Louisville. Go to exit 16.
The Drury Motel will be right at the exit.

The Greenbrier called me and said that they have only placed 3 reservations for the rooms I blocked out and want me to release the others we are not using. It is possible that some reservations are made under individuals names and not credited toward the block under my name. Is there anyway to get a head count by Tuesday as I told them I needed that much time to chase this down. Do you have a list of folks at this time? Anyone with reservations at the Greenbrier please post up here ASAP! Thanks!
