Rally to Rally 5 from St.Louis

DBTGT and I have pulled our heads together and concocted this plan. I will need to know who is IN. essentially, meet in Belleville, IL, my house for dinner on Sunday, September 26th. I will provide garage parking in my neighborhood for all cars. Hotel will be the Drury, very close to my house and right on top of I-64 East. We leave my house on Monday the 27th and drive to the Greenbrier Hotel in West VA, about 630 miles. DBTGT has set up rooms under his name, I think for $309, including taxes. This is a premier place. No problem with parking trucks and trailers, but some of the restaurants have a dress code.

Dinner Monday night there, and Tuesday morning we head into Raleigh, maybe a 4 hour drive.

So, we need to know who's in to move this along. I'll post phone numbers later for reservations.

I am pretty sure I am in. Depends on my daughter who may join me at the Rally. Would be great to "go as a group."

Frank, pending any hiccups, we're in as well.

I'll be taking the truck and trailer the whole way and will have room for luggage if needed.

Info is posted for the Greenbrier. I will make my reservation tomorrow morning. I will not be home for 10 days, will then talk to the Drury and get the info up. Drury does have truck/trailer type parking.

Barbecue (catered) OK with everyone for Sunday evening?

Just got home, thanks for asking.
 
OK Greenbrier booked, but it took all day to get through. Make sure you look at the dress code. No jeans and tee-shirts for the restaurants.

I have ShadowMan's credit card number for everybody to use. There is a Casino on-site as well.

Frank, Most likely my daughter and I will be there Sunday for BBQ. Would like to join the caravan toward VA on Monday, but will turn off towards Charlotte to spend the night with a friend . Looking forward to it.

I checked with the Drury this weekend. I have to call corporate to get the answers I want. Will take care of this this week.

Anyone else who might be doing this with us needs to let us know.

I wouldn't think of wearing jeans or tee-shirts. Shorts and Aloha shirts (Hawaiian Tuxedos) are O.K., right?
