I know what I want for Christmas!!!!!!

"Watch it long enough and the ceiling disappears and for a moment you feel like you're watching a real race from the inside of a Ford GT. Why would anyone ever leave their basement?"

I was at the PRI Show in Orlando recently and there were two simulators there that were scary "real". X-Y-and Z motions via massive hydraulic suspension, over four video screens. Accurately mimic motions and G-Forces. The econo version was $120k and the "Top of the Line" unit at only $220k!

At the Hilton Head Concours last month the local Porsche dealer had a simulator for all to try. Hurley Hayward got down to a 1:14 on the Road Atlanta track (1:09's good ALMS qualifyingy times in the real world). Some young 9 year old came by and slammed him with a 1:12!! Ouch!

I have praised iRacing many times on this forum. It really is just that good.

Why would anyone ever leave their basement?
