Whew, what a relief that must be. I have a similar story with a S351 R code Saleen. I have felt your pain.

When I went in for a door latch issue, the hot line told them to replace both sides. A lesser co. would have just worked the one I had issue with. But they stepped up to avoid a potential issue behind door #2. They told the dealer is is a know issue and wanted to correct it before a second problem occured.
I have a fleet of 200 vehicles. I have some Toyota, Chevy as well. But the majority are Ford, by far. When I see backing like this it makes it real hard to buy anything else. My next order will be Ford only.
