I got an invitation to drive the new Aston Martin Rapide. I've been looking for a new 4 door and since I've been a multi Aston owner I got the invitation. I plan on taking them up on it. Looks like a nice cruzer.

Beautiful car. We'll look forward to you impression!
I'll be there too...Star Motors, 4pm, Tuesday.
I did. Car looks great as a sedan, but the back seat is coupe tight.if it were me...I'd take a DB9.
Biggest surprise was the exhaust note....way better than the last DB9 I sampled. Very Ferrari-esque.
Drove the Rapide around town for a while on a test drive. Suspension has two settings, both are comfortable, even the sport setting is still very comfortable. Transmission didn't seem to shift very fast, but I wasn't on full or kick down throttle.
Amazingly quiet cabin, triple laminate glass.
As Doctor V8 said, the exhaust note is nice, and definitely something you can hear and will enjoy.
Back seats have good head room, but are very small, and not so good leg room. Better than a 2+2 seating, but not as good as most sports sedans, not even close.

The back end is huge. Surprised they were not able to squeeze a few inches of additional back seat comfort.
