Actually had my facts wrong, 1964 was the first year Ford raced the GT at Lemans. 65 just looks COOL!
1965 saw Ken Miles and Lloyd Ruby take a Shelby American entered GT40 to victory in the Daytona 2000 km

Sam, that thing is nice! Mine is all original as well except for the rubber..... oh and the 250hp pro shot of Nos. Really freaks out the kids driving the ricers with the 6" tail pipes.:lol
