Hi guys-

I'd be interested in seeing photos of no-top-stripe GTs in silver, tungsten and white. So post a few photos if you've got 'em, or direct me to your gallery if you've already posted some.

Thanks.

Here's a couple of one of our local northern town GT's, as taken by a super nice gal, Blondy. :thumbsup

Personally speaking, if there was a 3rd GT in my garage, it would be a Silver no stripe with Red interior. Bernie from www.BJmotors.com has one (not with Red guts) and I salivate every time I look at that beauty.

HHGT there is medication for salivation!

I like the painted 6-spoke stock wheels without the center caps- looks nice!

Well..............maybe.

No Stripe GTs

centerpunch -

Sent you an e-mail with lots of pics. Assume you still have same old e-mail addy? If not, send me a PM with your new e-mail, and I'll resend.

regards,

Jeff

Here's a picture of my Quicksilver no Stripe. Bad resolution in the first pic...will find the original and repost or Shelby may have it. Wheels, lowering etc was done for me by Shelby at Elite.

Very helpful, guys. Good to see "real world" photos.

I'm usually a silver or white car guy, but there are so many prominent dark elements on the car (headlights, rear lip spoiler, etc.), and they contrast less with the darker Tungsten color.

But the silver is very nice.

Hmmm.

I prefer the additional contrast of the black stripes on the silver cars.

I see what you mean- the stripes balance the other dark elements.

But I'm just not a stripe guy.

Here are a couple of no stripers I saw on 07-07-07 at the SAAC Convention at Miller Motorsports Park:

I understand. If I were to buy a GT in a different color, I would probably look for one without stripes. Good luck in your search.

Best Regards,
Waldo

I hear you on balancing out the contrast...thats why i kept the "Ford GT" logo on it but i'm not a stripe guy either. I LOVE the black no stripe cars but my only issue is that you lose alot of the lines of the car which really standout in the lighter colors. just personal preferences i guess...

The other factor is that, well, I'm a bit of a slob, and keeping a black or very-dark-blue car clean is almost a daily task.

Silver or tungsten are comparatively forgiving......

ever considered to put a protective film on it? You can put it in whatever color without stripes and you can keep the stripes underneath so if you want to sell it you just remove the sheet. I'm considering doing mine in carbon fiber look or math black

You mean wrapping the entire car?
