Hef was a car guy. He drove a '61 300 SL Roadster, and drove it in opening sequence of Playboys Penthouse TV series in 60s.
 
Notice the 1976 BMW 530i has no playmate in the photograph...:frown:frown:frown

The pink 68 AMX reminds me of when I was a kid as my dad worked for AMC in the mid 60's to early seventies and he used to bring home the Big Bad Green, Big Bad Blue and Big Bad Orange AMX's and Javelins. He didn't ever bring home a pink one but I am sure my brother and I wouldn't have minded if the PMOY would have been included
 
with lower circulation, it seems the ~pedigree~ of the car they drive has also been lowered lately. Some wild cars in there in the past.

Bridget was ok, Kendra was hot but a bit rough around the edges

Holly was my fave, gorgeous & class, Yum

And uh...... Hef is in his 80's. In addition to PB circulation/revenue, he just might be slowin down a bit himself. Next year, a hot pink Ford Focus ST, or a Segway? (top fashion choices for $4 gal. gas.)

Had one during my last years of college. Glad it was not Pink color though. :eek With so many pink cars does anyone get a feeling that "Mary Kay" was part of the Playboy empire? :willy
