Gentlemen,

All of our GT's are 11 to 12 years old now and we are 11+ years older too. I thought it would be interesting to see what we looked like on the day we bought our cars over a decade ago. Here I am in early 2006 on the back lot of West Oaks Ford in Houston, Texas standing next to #34 for the first time. I was so happy and I still am every time I look at my GT. My hair was still brown, I was fatter, and Charley was still a little boy. Fine memory's.

Eleven years ago next Month we watched the convoy driver unload #1142 at the dealership and could hardly take pictures of the GT for the mechanics and customers all over it. Sue always looks young but my hair was darker and I couldn't wait to take her for a ride. Wow, this new GT will even be more exciting, when she gets here!

Our 12th anniversary with the GT will be in early May. Thankfully Maggie didn't scratch the fender. Funny what a cocktail or two will make you do huh?

The Heritage arrived from Hawaii and DBK delivered The Great White from Detroit! Larry Pristo (aka AZGT) hosted the "stork" party. These were actually cars 2 and 3. We don't have any pictures from the first Heritage, but we have fond memories. Our neighbor came out with champagne and we toasted as the GT was being unloaded. Wow. The beginning of a grand adventure because of this Forum. Thank you Dave!

When the 05/06 GT was announced, I was still in college. I told myself that one day I would own a GT. It took 13 years, but I finally got there this year!
