It is impressive, really makes great use of vertical space.

Another really cool idea is the airplane wing being used as a table (behind the guy by the pool table).

Funny you mention that... we spoke about it while there. It is top side up, which means I avoided putting anything on it for fear of it slipping off.

About 20 years ago I was trying to think of a way to create a car guy's place in the "big city" and came up with something very similar (this is the first circular one I'd seen). Mine had parking for the unit (one or more depending on how large) plus parking for visitors on the lower floors, and a shared "service bay" area with do-it-yourself or paid mechanics. I figured out that the size of the units was going to be quite large just to support the lifts and in-unit parking area. I'd never seen one of these, and wonder how long they've been around. Oh well.
