Outlaw cement trucks...

Car took its first scar today, a cement truck passed me (I know my fault, should have booked it when I saw him coming) and dropped a nice size rock at 60mph. Smack! I could see it coming in slow motion. Luckily, the windshield survived with a minor scratch more so than a chip. Still disheartening.

Clear bra, next on the list.

Any one know a good installer in Austin or centex area?

In Europe all trucks must be in the Right lane and are fined if caught in any other lane except for passing....I use the car TRANSPORT WHITE STATIC TAPE on the nose when i hit the expressway....it is easily removed after my drive...

Your lucky being in southern area, I have a new jacuzzi sitting in my backyard, I cannot install until the ground thaws.

we spent last weekend in the Hill Country doing the wine trail and staying at our week end place on the Guadalupe. The River Road drive from Luckenbach to Blanco in a GT - oooooohhh......fun!

I havent done that drive in the GT yet, but look forward to it soon. I have done 290 from Austin to Fredricksburg in the SUV, I can imagine it would be quite fun in the GT. Are you doing the GT get together from Kerrville to Buda in a couple weeks?

There is a guy in Austin who is awesome at installing clearbra and does all of SW's and Cody's cars... (And several of mine)... David Weaver at American Racing Technology there should be able to hook you up or SW at Elite Motorsports there in Austin... either of them can lead you in the right direction!

I have a windshield skin to install...but cannot seem to find anyone to do it! Is it a window tint installer? Clear bra installer? I had to replace my windshield after I took a rock going to TWS at Rally 4, and want to keep it clean, but have been rebuffed here in SoCal with folks I have contacted for the install.

Use a window tint installer, The Windshield skin film is rigid like window tint film. Clear bra installer are used to flexible films and seem to have trouble with the windshield skins rigid film.
