Forum member Pete S. got his name in the paper today! He was interviewed in the following article in The Washington Post about a track session at Summit Point Raceway that he participated in. Pete is a man of few words; 37, to be exact. He did get a nice shot of his FGT on the front page of the Post's Style section, though.

Summit is a great track, I can just envision coming out of 10 carrying a ton of speed back end light, modulating to full throttle, and then a 2900' straight to build speed,.........

Good stuff!

Unfortunately, on this day, we were not on the "Big Track", but the Shenandoah, I think they call it. Still fun, but I spent almost every lap in 3rd as the track is a bit smaller.

And Don, thanks for notifying me about the article. One day I hope to see a GTX1 out there.

Alsmost any track day is fun in the GT, if you get a chance to run the big course you should.
