Today was our first open test day in Michigan. Out at Waterford Hills, Ralph brought his Chrysler rig and a Challenger Grand Am car to sort out. The Challenger needs a bit of work, handily out-run by a stock (track key, brake and trans cooling from LS) red 2012 Boss 302. :lol

Open track day at Waterford Hills - the first of the year at that venue. The road course (in Michigan) is technical in nature, approx. 1.42 miles, 13 turns (narrow, few passing spots), some elevation change. Resultingly, it doesn't favor V8 horsepower, but definately rewards handling and driver skill sets. Pretty good track for FA/FC/FF and Specracers.

Must have been doing some serious testing / shake down only, and NOT running for speed. For a Grand Am GS car to be out run by a street car would NOT be a good thing......

Yes and no. There were some teething issues that I noticed, but it was never up to any sort of speed that one would expect of that hardware. They have lots of work to do. Was outclassed by the Boss, fortunately they had a trailer to tow it home.
