Non-Rally guys

I didn't get to go to the Rally, I did get to stay home and watch the SLOW progress on my home reno, I did get to watch a portion of my house get inundated with water (STILL drying - UGH!!), and I did get to read about the GREAT time all the rally attendees got to have. So yeah, I'm a bit bummed out. :frown

So I went for a drive. It's autumn and the leaves are starting to turn. Beautiful! And a GT drive always seems to bring the smiles back, not just for me, but for all the other cars and all the pretty girls. :banana

Got these pics from my friend Adam Fick. He's got some photo skills :thumbsup:thumbsup:thumbsup Hope they bring a smile to your faces too!

Great Pics 'Fly. When are you going to give that Heritage a number? I'll vote for #11 in honor of Mark Messier. :cheers

My renovations continue as well. :bored They better be completed before we get any rain....wait I live in California....we hardly ever get any rain. :biggrin

Hey Sky, thanks. It was a really fun day. It's funny, I AM actually putting number 11 on!! :biggrin Seriously!! Both for Mess and it was the number I wore ALL through hockey! The numbers were supposed to go on about 2 weeks ago, but with the reno's etc. it's been delayed. :thumbsdow But the numbers look cool, they're a sort of cut out drop shadow thing that my 3m guy did. They look really great IMHO, or at least they will when they're finally on :lol

But at least the reno's going better, new roof will be on tomorrow and no rain forecast for a while!!! :thumbsup

Are your reno's nearing completion? Did you add any garage space? I've got a tandem bay going in as well! :thumbsup

Very pristine Heritage. I was surprised how much more complete mine looked after finally putting #s on it.

Okay, you are going to think I am yanking your chain, but I used to play rec hockey and 11 was my number. I am originally from Pittsburgh and I got into hockey as a kid in the late 70's when the Islanders were kicking our a$$ 24/7. Not much to cheer for until Lemieux came along, so I kind of adopted Mess as my favorite player. I know this sounds crazy, but as great as he was I always felt he played better than his ability level. Loved to watch him....till he went to the Rangers. :lol Still liked him just not when he played the Pens. One of my favorite hockey memories was chanting "1940" as we eliminated the Rangers in the second round of the '92 playoffs. I got real lucky to watch Lemieux in his prime and go to both cups we won. :thumbsup I know Gretz may have scored more, but Lemieux was just so dynamic and physical. He could drag two guys to the net in his prime and score a goal that would leave you smiling for a week. If only he would have had good health....:frown

I played D though. Not the most talented guy but I took up space and knew how to clear the front of the net. :biggrin

I have two decks over living space that started to leak last year. :ack Replacing them out of neccessity, although they do look good....and believe me when I say the best looking part of my garage is the GT. :lol At least my garage has never leaked....that would be a real problem. :rofl

Make sure you post a pic after you put the numbers on your Heritage. :cheers
