My friend Marty has owned this '72 Pantera for 45 years. It has been undergoing restoration/resto-modding for the past nine years. It is stunning.

The big mod is replacement of the 351 Cleveland with a crate Coyote Aluminator. I don't know if it's the first Coyote in a Pantera, but Marty had this done way before the Gas Monkeys put one in Kurt Busch's Pantera. Original ZF five-speed, Wilwood brakes, Forgeline two piece wheels fabbed for this car. Leather sourced from BMW. Lots of fabrication (air scoops replacing rear quarter windows, oil pan machined from billet, entire exhaust). Classy.

Sweet!

The coyote motor is finding its way into a lot of vintage vehicles. Takes all the unreliability out of these classic cars. I wanted to put one in my 71 Bronco when I did my frame off restoration but was talked out of it. I wish I would have done what I wanted and put one in. Gorgeous Pantera. I am a big fan of red Ford GTs too. My first GT was red.

Very tasteful. Especially the interior looks very good, the original interior is the weak spot of the pantera IMHO.

Definitely a labor of love but the final product is outstanding. Love those wheels. I am a big fan of the resto-mod and remember what the Pantera was known for back in the day.
1) Italian style body
2) German gearbox
3) All powerful and dependable American V8

I have 5 years of my life in my '71.
He did a very nice job on that car!

That's Incredible.

I did the coyote swap in my 74 gts in 2011.. Very cool build tho. I own a 85 GT5 right now with a 514 bbf in it, my 74 gts was my very first super car so to say.

Wow that Pantera looks great. He did a beautiful job on that engine swap it fits and looks very nice in that engine bay. Love what he did with the interior.

Just incredible, well done! The Pantera is one on my bucket list for my dream garage.

Nice job on the custom luggage boot too.

Coyote restomod---sweet

I remember as a kid seeing these cars at car shows and said .... one day..... that is a fine job!

I bought my first Cobra only quickly to build my Coyote powered Backdraft... It is a super sweet motor!

I have always loved Panteras, but this is definitely one of the nicest, well constructed Panteras I have seen.

Wow.

Wow!!!
Does he frequent the Pantera international forum?
I LOVE my 73...but this one is in another universe!

I've owned 3 Panteras and this is excellent. I don't miss them now that I have a GT though.

The wheels really compliment the car well.
