The 10K increase in price took place on all cars ordered after July 1, 2005. Mine is '05 1297 ordered April '05 and beat the 10K, so I would guess it would start around #1500. Quickdraw, any help here?

I say go for the low mileage untouched car, but keep it low mileage. This car is more exclusive than a Ferrari! If you want to drive it to work, keep the Vette. Get the VIN on the 05. If it's less than 1200, tell them that it had a lower MSRP and some recalls. The recalls were all fixed, but the dealer may not know that.
