Only in Lake Zurich, IL :biggrin

Thanks

Jason - thanks for the tip! I'll try that in Charlotte, NC in June for the Porsche Parade where I will enter my 1987 911 Carerra Wide Body in the Concours. It's mint, as new, with only 29k miles.

VERY nice! Good luck at the show :cheers

Jason, did not get a whiff that you were trying to sway me, or anyone else.:thumbsup
One of the things that makes this forum so helpful is that for the type of car we all own, the egos are, for the most part, kept in check.:cheers

Excellent :thumbsup

I am sure there are still people out there reading what I wrote, that still may disagree with the whole idea of paying so much for a wax and thats their opinion. As I said previously, when I conducted all of that research I went straight to the owners and looked far past the people that never used it, and even the people that made it because their feedback may be more diluted with sales than anything else. Call me crazy, sure, but its another example of the extremes in life - No different than a guy that spends $15.00 on a bottle of Jack Daniels and a guy that spends $1,000 on a bottle of wine when they're both looking for a good time. I also didn't intend to come out of here sounding like I was defending this too bad, I just wanted to provide a little more information about the topic because I can relate to it. Just my 0.2...:thumbsup

I've tried most waxes - but I found some while ago that Zymol do a 'sample' kit of their best waxes for about $200, which is actually far cheaper than buying the full tubs.

I tried Meghuires NXT (?) on the Bentley, which is black, and am now experimenting with Zaino.

Neilda,
You may have already checked this out, but I have had a lot of success using the Klasse Twins[AIO and Sealant] on black cars followed by a couple of layers of Pinnacle Souveran. Good depth and reflectivity, easy on/off, good durability etc. Another product which seems to work well with the darker colored cars[black, deep blue, red] is the Wolfgang Concours Series-Paintwork Polish Enhancer and a couple of layers of Deep Gloss Paint Sealant. I will wash, quick detail with Pinnacle's Crystal Mist[smells like you should be drinking it!], and cover the cars in a conditioned garage after driving. PITA sometimes, but seems to help with durability.

Thanks - I might give that a go.... :cheers
