Wonder what the weight distribution is, compared to a 350R? Will it be a drag strip special or a good track car? This question is actually code for “should I keep looking for an R, or start sucking up to dealers for next year?”

After the 2013 and 2014 GT500's had 662 HP, they'll need to really "take it up a notch" above 700 HP to gain traction in sales. Many alternatives out there now. Hopefully some kind of aggressive/retro styling?

its not gonna look that much different. different front facia, hood and wing. maybe fenders like gt350. rear bumper is gt 350..

You mean it's going to have the sagging rear end problem of the GT350R with too much weight again? This is a real problem that needs to be addressed. Gaps looked fine at delivery. Sits in an AC warehouse in Florida with 600 miles on it and the ass is sagging. WTF?
