Hi everyone,

I just purchased a 2006 Tungsten with no options with 83 miles on it from Shelby (and he has been truly great)...he's doing the GTG bumper delete and x-pipe, putting the BBS wheels on it and doing the pulley and flash before shipping it to me. Can't wait....I have previously bought the Ford short shifter and was wondering if anyone has tips or pics of the install?

Curious for any SF Bay Area, in particular south bay, people who know how to service/work on these cars?

Also, can't figure out how to put my own pic in the avatar on here?

I just received my white one from Shelby today... Wow what a great car, exactly as promised... Shelby is a true class dealer... Enjoy...... It will feel like Christmas when you get it

Congrats. A real nice unique piece. Shelby is really great. Bought a gt500 from him and all worked perfect. A real thrustworthy guy.

Are you the same Steve that owns a Cobra and a 993? Techfarm ring a bell?
 
Cobra being built....had several 993's, but current is a 997.2 Turbo No, techfarm doesn't ring a bell...bio is on my profile page via Linkedin :)

Welcome aboard. You will enjoy your GT. It is truly a special car as all of us on the Forum can attest. Some people liked their first one so much they have acquired multiples. Consider joining the Forum as a member and joining us all at the Rally in New Orleans in mid-October. You wont meet a group of nicer folks.
 
Assuming you bought the Shifter from Chris, and assuming he's not sent it out yet, just get him to deliver it straight to Shelby.

As for your car, that's fantastic. Congrats and welcome to the group.

Congratulations on getting one of the most wonderful (super)cars in the world. You are gonna smile every time you press the start button!

P.S. The shifter makes it feel like my Shelby GT. Nice and crisp. I guess I'll never understand why Ford just didn't put it in to begin with. Probably about MPG.

Congrats on that new beast! You're gonna enjoy the hell outta that car! Those mods are really going to wake it up too. I got both of my GT's from Shelby and couldn't be happier!
