Welcome, nice garage too!

+2 outstanding!

Your red GT is nice, very glad it arrived and in perfect shape.

But that garage. YOWZA!! Wood plank flooring on concrete, yes?

Beautiful car and garage! You'll be glad that you have the couch set up already!!!!

A search will find a thread on exhaust sounds, which may help. However, the sound of revving while parked in neutral doesn't bear much relation to the sound at WOT in the upper rev ranges while on the road or track. Nor does it give you any idea of the sound in the cabin while cruising.

I have the Ford Racing exhaust (made by Borla). I bought it used from a guy who thought it was too quiet. Others have sold the same exhaust because it was too loud. It's like Goldilocks.

The best thing you can do is put Rally VIII on your calendar and listen to the concert in person. If you can't wait that long, there are a bunch of GTs in Minnesota.

Nice Christmas present and great garage. It fits in very nicely with the rest of your collection. Congratulations.

Your garage is spectacular. The red GT is the star on top. Congrats again.

Any Pics of your work area?

Whoa. Road trip confirmed ;)

Thank you for sharing the pictures of your serious Man Cave. Your new GT looks great with all of your collection. You'll spend a lot of time on that couch just enjoying the looks and lines of your GT. Welcome and enjoy. Tomy

That is one heck of a setup. I bet it looks great in person.

Thanks for the compliments, everybody.

The floor is not actual wood-planking; it is stamped and colored concrete, seen up close in the attached photo. For the lower level, I went with stained and cut concrete, seen in the other photo (along with my new winter toy- a six-person "snowmobile" that I told my wife I needed to keep our driveways plowed :biggrin )

I know I said earlier I didn't want to show pics, but don't worry- there are still plenty of surprises to show people, if any of you still want to come by for a garage tour. I have three garages in my home (parts of two of them shown), and for the person who asked for pics of the work space area, most of the real heavy/dirty work I do is done at my shop which I built on my dad's acreage outside of town.

I've seen plenty of stamped and colored concrete.

NOTHING that looks that detailed and realistic.

And I think that snowmobile looks suitable for lunar work!

Congrats on your purchase and welcome to the forum. Great looking garage(s).
