Hi All,

Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is John. My father and I recently purchased our first Ford GT. It is a Blue 2006 with all four options. It has 3300 miles on it. We purchased it from Shelby Smith. He went above and beyond our expectations on quality and delivery. We keep the car in Monmouth County, New Jersey and have put about 100 miles on it so far and I LOVE IT. I look forward to learning more about the GT from this forum and it's members.

Sorry still learning how to post. I just wrote a long post but think it only went to MJSRX. It basically said, I am partial to blue and also have a Daytona Blue split window vette. I would like to see a white Ford GT in person because I think they may appear to be larger than the rest of the cars due to the effect white has on cars, but that is just a guess. I have known Rob and Bob Ida for many years but never knew they were involved in Ford GT performance and maintenance until after I purchased the GT. So, I am counting myself very lucky to find a dealer, forum, and shop all in one week! Life is Good.
 
New Jersey is getting thick with FGT's. I can recall eight. Two each in Bergen, Passaic and Morris counties; and (now) two in south Jersey. NJ is under-represented considering its population and average income. Of couse, I may not know about all Jersey FGT's.

That is interesting.I have never seen another one in Monmouth County which I consider central Jersey ( but people debate me on that!)

Don't listen to all the malarky about the colors other than Midnight Blue being better, or the best.
They all know the truth and have to pound away at it when they can!
