Nice work. This just saved me a small fortune.

Expecting product in the 4th quarter. Located in New Hampshire, not Detroit.

Hopefully these are as advertised and will be an incentive for companies to reproduce other parts.

I have been in communication with them, so far, they have answered several questions;

Hi Michael,

Here are some answers to your questions.

1) "I assume that the images on your website are renderings? The black painted bar that separates the Lower window from the main open area looks to be too far back from the leading edge. On the OEM lens, it is approximately 3-7/16" back from the curved pointed leading edge. Can you tell me where your "visual separation bar" will be positioned?"

Yes, these are high detail renders. The manufacturer scanned original Ford GT headlights, then based the new headlights off the original design with slight modification to the finishes to the internals only. The lens will have the same features and dimensions as the originals. The internals will feature a carbon fiber inlay and the HID projectors will be converted to Bi-LED assemblies.

2) "The touring promotional cars had killer lighting schemes. One feature they had was to tint that lower ribbed window amber. Any chance that could be ordered as an option?"

We can inquire with the design team on this change but will most likely start with as close to the renders as possible. If it is an option in the future, it will be a one-off configuration and the price will most likely increase significantly. We recently inquired about a custom option for a set of new Ferrari F430 headlights and the price jumped to about $2000-$3000 more because specific tooling was required for the one-off set.

3) "Are the lenses polycarbonate? What type of protective coating will be applied for U.V. protection?"

Yes, these are automotive-grade polycarbonate with UV-resistive coating. As strong as polycarbonate and UV coating is, we still recommend PPF for these headlights for long-term durability. In the event the coating fades, these headlights will come with a 5 year warranty.

4) "will you be sealing the lenses with Morimoto Butyl?"

These headlights will not use specifically "Morimoto Butyl" but they will be sealed with OEM-grade butyl sealant.

5) "just confirming that this is for a driver and passenger side assembly. Still looking at 4th quarter delivery?"

Yes, this is for a pair of assemblies (left and right). Our most recent knowledge, we still aim for development complete by the end of the year, with delivery by then, or worst case early next year

Michael, thanks for all your diligence in staying on top of this for our collective!
