Need Heffner TT pics please...

Hi guys,

Since this forum has always been a great help for me when needing answers i regards to the GT, I have a request I hope someone can help me with.

I just bought a Heffner TT kit and has had it shipped to me in boxes with absolutely no instructions or paperwork . I have a hard time figuring out where to weld the oil feed and return connections to the oil pan, also I'm told that I have to modify the throttle linkage.

Sadly Heffner is not able to supply my pictures as they have no costumer cars in the shop at this time, and I'm of course quite eager to start the mounting process..

Can anybody with a TT car help me with detailed pictures??

give the GT guys a call they have done a bunch of heffner tt kits
 
Give me a few minutes and I will have some pics for you. I've got one on the rack right now and I'll get pics/dimensiond for the oil fittings on the pan.

If you have any other questions about the TT, let us know. I have a car we just finished (all together) and I have the one on the rack that is essentially all apart.

Shoot me a PM with your cell number and I will give you Ryan's. He's done quite a few TT installs and could likely tell you some trick's he's learned.

I don't get it, either they tell you that you must go to an authorized installer or they supply the installation instructions (or both).

Yes I know you are in Europe but for what you paid, you should have all the customer assistance you need.
 
When I placed the order they told me that they would supply me with detailed pictures I could bring to the shop that is doing the mounting.
I'm also waiting for answers on how to modify the throttle body and where to mount the boost controller ect.

It's a little like an IKEA closet with no manual :ack

You just have to modify or re-make the black L-bracket that secures the throttle cable. It is pretty easy to do... we just bend a piece of steel, drill it, then paint it. It will be easy to see when you get the SC off and the Heffner plenum on.

The boost controller is mounted underneath the top panel behind the passenger side rear wheel. I think the Heffner team will drill a small self-tapping screw in an out of the way place. We like to attach the controller and bypass to the small round bar that you will find after your remove the aforementioned trim panel using adel clamps.

You might consider flying Kendall or the GT guys over there to do the install for you. It might be well worth the investment, in terms of piece of mind, etc. Good luck with it and have fun.
