:bananaOk after dealing with registering and insuring my new baby, I went for a nice run in my GT yesterday and I must say WOW. I love it like my fourth child. I have had many cars over the past including, Lotus Esprit, 67 Cooper S, Maseratti, 05 Saleen and serveral Carreras and man this thing is somthing else. Definately a keeper. I love everything about it. I love the whining that comes out when cruising in 4th and you just floor it. The car handles spectacular. Im still getting used to the size and the wideness. This is my dream car. I used to see pics whail in search o my car and laughed at people who had 2 GTs and thought they are just crazy. Now I see, I would love to have another one just to baby and keep in my garage and one to drive more. But if I did that I would be served with divorce papers unless I bought a 5ct Diamond for her. I can even beigin to say how impressed i am with this beast. So easy to drive and so responsive. Now I drive passed the Auto Gallery(Ferrari dealership near my home) with my nose up in the air. I am so in love with my GT. To be continued...

Efferman-

I recently purchased my GT and couldn't be any happier either. I totally understand where you're coming from. The car exudes sex appeal - I love just going out to the garage to check her out. It's a car I knew I had to own some day, I'm fortunate to have one and so is the rest of the forum. It's easy to take things for granted, but rest assured I'll never take my GT for granted. It's a great car and the great thing about the vehicle is the wonderful people that own them - the more I'm on the forum the more I see it's a family. So needless to say - LIFE IS GOOD!

Good health is the key to success - drive her in good health!

Cheers,

Lance

I have had a certain love for this car since childhood. My brother and I used to have two small GTs one red and one white whic we played with nearly 40 years ago. When I first found out about the Gt coming back 6 years ago, I said I would have a GT 40 for my 40th birthday. Well a few years late but I now have mine and so happy. After many European cars, 5 years ago, I started to have a new passion for American Muscle cars and wanted a 67 Camaro real bad. in 2005 I bough a Saleen COnvertible which to this day, I havent heard anexhaust system which sounds better. I recently sold it with the notion of getting a new Camaro SS and ordered one last January. With all the delays and problems with GM, I was told so many stories that its coming, its coming... I just canceled my order and hopefully will get my deposit back. Up until the Gt my wife though I am becoming a red-neck wanting these muscle cars. She now sees tha American muscle can also have the ultimate class and style. belive it or not she loves it too and was finally very supportive of me getting it.

She's right!

Time for you to consider adding a CTS-V to the garage...
