My Car is at SEMA

....well, anyway, it USED to be my car....

My old Black & Gold 1966 GT350H "Hertz" car

is on display at SEMA with Carroll Shelby's own new 2006 Shelby GT-H.

(BTW, centerpunch, I feel your pain - I bought this car many years ago for $5k with a blown-up engine; fixed it up, then sold it for $8k; earlier this year, I appraised it for $150k.....ouch!)

If any of you guys at the show get some pics of it, I'd like to get copies. Wish I was there with 'ya - maybe next year.

Jeff,
Was at SEMA for a few days. Took pictures of your old car, along with Shelby's Prototype GT-H. I was at Shelby's the other day while at SEMA and Amy told me they just sold Carroll's production GT-H, serial no. CSM06H0001 for just over $1Million to a private collector/investor. Got a few pictures of that one in the factory on Monday. When I returned on Wednesday, the car was gone.

This car was used by Shelby last March when they came to Detroit to review the deal with Ford and Hertz at Ford's Design Center in Dearborn.

Another Ford GT owner, Gino Lucci, provided his 1966 Shelby GT350H Hertz car for Ford to display at the GT-H intro at the New York Auto Show.
