Huge step up from the BBC :biggrin

.

That was on Dream Car Garage a few years ago. That was a great show too bad it's no longer around.

The car lives right down the street from me, you know when it's fired up. The thing is INSANE! Incredible loping sound, gear whine and watching it try to twist itself into a pretzel it's a full sensory overload. Getting past that the workmanship is insane! I can't even imagine the hours involved in fabrication it is from that standpoint a wonder. The owner told me that the time to do just the hand painted rivet heads took a few hundred hours. The front tires are 16 ply to keep the sidewalls from rolling when the motor torques.

I would imagine the Merlin tries to make that car do an "alligater roll" everytime the "go pedal" is depressed!

Say the word and I'll talk to Charlie.

Forgot to mention one of the coolest pieces that came with the car is an original RR merlin tool kit. These are special tools needed for the repair and maintenance of the merlin that are in a fitted RR built ''suitcase".
