Would love to hear details of Homestead as well as Sebring. What is the "Best" hotel at the Sebring track?

I think the best hotel for Sebring is the one at the track. You just can't beat the location. The rooms have always been clean and comfortable. I always try to get one with the track view. The bar is not too shabby either.
As for Homestead, from the dates Matech will be there it looks like they will be sorting out their customers car. That same Sat. and Sunday NASA is holding HPDE and races. Lots of good places to stay in South FL. If you are coming down let me know I will recommend a few places.

I'm in CA during Homestead but I may be back in time for Sebring. Bummer to miss the SFL get together. :frown

I just received an Email from Sascha at Matech. They damaged the car in practice and it will not be available for the Miami Homestead event this week end.. :frown

Chateau Elan is the hotel at the track (probably booked though) after that, Inn on the lakes is in Sebring. After that well pretty much your regular motel / hotel fare...... unless there are new ones that have been built.....

Homestead, you are going to want to stay up in S Miami and make the drive down, for SURE, I have used the Hampton Inn "Miami Dadeland" several times

Hey, Stormcat posts that we can not race in Homesteadt. Sorry about that but its true. But the good think is that all spareparts which we need arriving on Monday from Germany. Everybody has the possibility to seen our car in Sebring.

NO,NO,NO. I write this sitting in the Ramada at Homestead Speedway. After
having read this mornings posts and then grabibng my heart meds, what am I to do. Came from Kentucky to see this car and meet Sascha, actually I stay at Sarasota for a month. I have to attend meetings the week of Sebring. I would even like to see a broken car. So Stormcat if you get that sweeping job remember that is a two man job, someone has to hold the pan.
