Looking for the part number for the " Plate Washers" on the half shaft bolts

Finally changed the Half shaft bolts because I was not sure if they had been changed. One side for sure was not but the other looked like it may have been. Changed both sides with accufab but the side that looked like it may have been changed was in deed not. Someone just changed the six half shaft bolts but the C plate washers are missing.

Does anyone know the part number?

Workshop manual does not show the part number.

Thanks

Zach

half shaft

Looking at my car, and the parts book, there doesn't appear to be a washer behind the head of the bolt. Only the 3, 1/3 washers that the bolt goes through.

I think that's what he asking about the 1/3 (plate) washers.

I also looked for them, a few years back. I had some water jet cut from the proper spring steel. I have extras if you need a few. I will be in Calgary in next week or so.

Interestingly if you turn that 4B478 part number into a GT format and call it a 4G7Z-4B478-A it shows up as a "clamp - boot" though the part number doesn't show in the parts catalog...

In deed. I need the 3 plate washers that are behind the bolts

I appreciate the offer, The car in currently in Quebec until my new garage is built in Calgary. I will try to find them at the dealer, but if I come up with nothing I will take you up on it.

Just an FYI i had my bolts replaced by Rich (aka gttech or something) and he sourced his bolts from Ace hardware with a higher strength rating than the ones from the factory. Total cost was something like $8 for the side, including washers or whatever else he said was required. Not that there's any issue with the other options available, but the savings is substantial.

Thanks I just ordered them from the dealer. Much appreciate the help. One question where did you get the parts book? I have the 3 service manuals but I would love to get a parts book.

I'm curious if Torrie has the 4G7Z-4B478-A plate washers?

Just an FYI. The dealer had no issue finding the part. He has ordered them for me. The price was MSRP $55 discount offered less 25% . So $41.25 each

Wow!

3 needed for each side!

I downloaded the pages from Ford parts giant, but now they want you to subscribe, the other route is to go to Fordparts.com. and download from there, one page at a time.. Cheers.
