I'm sure you can try, but a live feed require the iXxxx device to have a solid signal of LTE (dependent of carriers limit) or Wifi (dependent bandwidth on link and any restrictions such as Boingo limits in Airport for free WiFi)

Wont be device but limit will be due to "connectivity"

Appears that when it transitions to a live broadcast - 9am ET - you may be able to see it on iphone/ipad... I get the 'channel is not live' on my phone at this moment.
