Liquid Red Pre-Production...

The NGT will allow prospective owners the opportunity for many of the personalization options not generally offered from the factory. Building your cars is going to be an absolute treat as much as it will be a welcomed headache due to the bespoke nature of this vehicle. I personally can't wait to see the creativity that goes into NGT owner's builds. These won't be decisions you can make in the first pass through. Refreshingly agonizing is what comes to mind. Congrats NGT owners!!

Love the idea of having the car with a factory installed clear film. My only concern is that I have never seen a new car not need some amount of paint correction. No way to do that after the clear film is on.
I really don't think that will be an issue. 05/06 cars paint did not need any help.. and I'm sure this will be equal or better..

how many additional colors are available in the extended color palette?

The order guide will be helpful with your decision.

Here's a shot someone snapped of the same red on on the roads in Dearborn.

Needs a stripe.

Needs a stripe.

It has black stripes. This is the same car seen earlier in this thread.

I thought there was only one pre-production red GT with white stripes... ??

Hmmm, looks like white stripes at the beginning of this thread.

Whoops, yea, you're right. It's the same one with white stripes.

No stripes is the way to go.

That red is gorgeous. Decisions decisions !!!!

Really would like to see them in person! Trip to Ontario? Or even to Detroit if there were few available to see, those of you placing first orders I don't envy trying to make color choices!!!

Jerry would prefer it if all of you picked red. Forget the other colors.

Vince... didn't you hear... the red color fades after the 2nd wash... everyone should stay away from the red color... white is a very nice color!:willy

I'm stoked that everyone prefers the red . . . . . except for me.

Clear film may be a factory option.

I have heard some installers say that paint should have a few months to cure before installing film. Not sure if that is still the case as the adhesives have changed.

I saw this car driving in Dearborn yesterday! I'd seen the early unpainted mules driving before, but this was the first time I'd seen a production-intent car on the road. It just looks so low/long/wide on the road. The red REALLY shines in the sunlight. Couldn't tell who was driving, but I'd assume the list of who can isn't huge.

Clear film may be a factory option.

We were just told yesterday that they aren't going to offer the clear film now. :(
