Had several people at Daytona ask me how my ‘Carbon Edition’ is doing. Well, as far as I’m concerned, my car is a ‘Lightweight’ and I’ve got proof! Interior swatch and Ford Ordering receipt attached. No idea when it morphed into the new name, mine was the first delivered so maybe it’s the only Lightweight onthe planet?

Let’s not forget the LED lighting, mud flaps, Stormtrooper, and 20 lbs of decals in your weight and balance calculations...

Our cars were very close K020 pretty much done by Thankgiving.

Pearce indicated at the factory the decision prior to official reveal in Vegas SEMA to call it Carbon Series.

So we early birds must have ulta light weights.

The Reliable truck had to add sand bags to keep from floating away with all the CSLWT on board.

C’mon Brian, my car has a plexiglass window which must save hundreds, if not thousands, of pounds PLUS - the plexiglass has holes cut into it!!!

Anyone who has visited Multimatic in recent months can confirm that EVERY "Carbon Series" has a sticker on the front and rear bumper mount that reads "Lightweight" (it also has the VIN, the car's color and options, and a bar code containing all of this info).

So even if you can't find a VISIBLE "Lightweight" badge on your Carbon Series you can rest easy knowing the car is labeled as such. Twice.

That's classic! I know your day is just around the corner... Hope you all got the delivery location worked out... Dana and I would love to see you all with your car...

Thanks Doug! This plate is actually from a little Lotus Elise we had before we knew anything about Carbon or Light Weight GTs... :cool

That's what I was called before I gave up drinking!:biggrin

Only problem with that plate is people will think you were referring to yourself!

What makes up the "Lightweight" or "Carbon" package? Is that what reads as the 600A group?

Current “Carbon Series”:

Don’t ask why the Configurator hasn’t been updated.
