Somewhat funny when you think about it. The great American supercar and an icon of American manufacturing - the last car goes to Canada.

That is one lucky Northerner.

Anyone on here get the car? Red and white number xxxxxxx2045?

Congrats if you did.

Only problems is you will need to put that one away and buy a second to drive.

The "last" two VINS went to Edsel and Sonny Ford. The last 48 cars went to Canananada, and you had your choice of color, as long as it was RED.

Does anyone know how many GTs were built? Mine is a late July delivery 2006 and bears serial number 1078.

Some VIN#'s were skipped.
Would be interesting to know which VIN's don't exist.

I have '05 VIN#2032 and the last VIN of '05 was #2068....
Yet only 2027-2038 '05 models were produced.
Not sure which number is correct anymore.
Based on the article (4038-2011 = 2027 05 models)....
Other sources (at Ford) have stated previously 2038 05' GT's were made.
