Another career (would be career) bites the dust. You have to wonder what drug he was on that made him loose it like that .... PD :confused
 
I always take comics with a grain of salt. They have a long and storied history of trying to find out just how offensive words can be. It was definitely uncalled for though...seems like he must have been lit to go that nuts....
 
It looks as though he became very frustrated with the hecklers and tried to "hurt" them. He may or may not be a racist...at certain times I think people can become so angry that they will say (and sometimes do) things that they know will cause someone pain. They may not necessarily believe these slurs but hurl them nevertheless. Regardless of the "why", it was a stupid thing to do.
 
As wrong as that might be, I still have no clue why a nation that allows every curse word known to man on tv can get so upset over a racial slur. We allow women to be referred to as bitches on tv and movies, yet if the word "nigga" is said by a white person all hell breaks loose. Not saying one justifies the other, but you would think they would be seen about equally.

Had the person called him a honkey no one would have cared.

One word..........EXACTLY! He was off base in what he did but if the shoe were on the other foot......well... I am a MWM. I can't scream racist, I can't scream I'm female, I can't scream I'm gay. Wait a minute....let's analyze who is a minority and who isn't.

No one would have cared because no one even knows what the heck it means. It's like if you called someone a sthepleth. I don't think they'd be offended.

Him saying that stuff doesn't mean he's a serious racist. Everyone is racist to some extent. It's natural to like things similar to you. That's part of the reason we have forums. It's the people on the far ends of the scale that cause issues. Him saying that stuff shows he's not very wise regardless of whether he really is racist or not.


Oh.....Comparing movies/tv to reality is a little apples to oranges. There's plenty of movies with racial slurs/homophobic slurs/sexist slurs/physical abuse/child abuse/rape/etc. that didn't get people in an uproar becuase it's fiction.
 
Well he is on my boycott list, first Barbra, then Jane, then Gibson now Krammer.... come to think of it, most of the Hollywood set is a bit nutso
